Leasys finishes 2024 strong, posting full year results marked by consolidation and growth
The company car landscape in Luxembourg is changing rapidly, influenced by tax and regulatory changes aimed at encouraging sustainable mobility through the adoption of more environmentally-friendly vehicles. Company cars also have a significant economic impact on the local economy, whether in terms of jobs, sales or employee retention in Luxembourg.
The 61st edition of Autofestival will be held from Saturday January 25 to Monday February 3, 2025 inclusive. This emblematic Luxembourg event will bring together 90 car dealerships and 170 showrooms across the country.
At the Council of Ministers on 29 November, the Luxembourg government announced that the benefit in kind related to the leasing of 100% electric vehicles would be extended until the end of 2026.
For company cars registered from 1 January 2025 onwards and for which no contract is signed before 31 December 2024, the flat-rate system of the benefit in kind will be simplified.
As announced shortly before the summer, the transition period for the electric car premium is ending. From 1 October, the maximum state subsidy will reach €6,000, compared to €8,000 previously.
