Maintenance and Repairs: an essential habit
To ensure high-quality service, minimize vehicle downtime, and avoid unnecessary costs, here are some important guidelines regarding the maintenance and repair of your vehicle.
Always use the authorized network in Luxembourg
In accordance with the terms of your contract, maintenance and repairs must be performed at Leasys-authorized garages and partner facilities in Luxembourg. If you’re unsure which garage to contact, simply reach out to our FIRST Driver Service. We’ll guide you toward the solution best suited to your situation.
Why is this important?
When work is performed outside the network or without prior approval:
- processing of the claim is significantly delayed
- the driver may have to pay out-of-pocket
- replacement vehicle fees may be charged and may not be covered, or only partially covered, by Leasys
- additional discussions with the repair shop may be necessary before invoices are settled
These situations create difficulties for all parties and can often be avoided by simply contacting our teams in advance.
No repairs without technical approval
We also remind you that no repair shop is authorized to perform a repair covered by the contract without Leasys’ prior approval. This approval ensures that the work is necessary, complies with the terms of the contract, and is performed at the most reasonable cost.
Plan ahead for your maintenance
The appearance of a maintenance light or service alert does not generally mean that service is required immediately. These alerts are specifically designed to give you time to schedule an appointment with an authorized service center and arrange for the service under the best possible conditions. We therefore encourage you not to wait until the last minute, but also not to take any urgent action without first checking with our teams.
A shared interest
Following these few guidelines ensures:
- faster processing of requests
- better cost management
- reduced downtime
- a smoother experience for drivers
- more efficient fleet management
